Dating Older – Dating Older Mature Women

The Attraction
For the women, it’s pretty obvious. They might be called names, but part of it is because people, especially other females, can’t help being impressed. It’s a huge ego boost and she feels that she looks good, just because she was able to attract a younger man. Sex therapists say the sex is better, too, because women’s sex drives are at the highest when they’re in their 30s and 40s, and don’t drop for awhile. Men’s sex drives are at their highest in their 20s. And then they drop quickly. Dating someone for sex isn’t recommended, but good sex is a definite attraction. So, not only is he young and (presumably) hot, but the sex is good to boot. Dating has never been so good.
But why are young men dating older women? It’s hard to say. Part of it is the thrill of the chase. Part of it is an older woman is considered to have had more experience. Men dating women older than them say they tell them exactly what they want, and that’s attractive. It also gives him the opportunity to pursue his own dreams and career goals, because they already have a job and their own interests. They’re also expected to play fewer games.
The Disadvantages
When men are dating older women, the womens body image fears are increased because she’s afraid she looks old with him and that he’ll find her physically unattractive. Sometimes, they’re also afraid they won’t be able to keep up in bed. Older women who haven’t been married or started families, typically want that. If she does have those, he has to deal with exes, children and other baggage. Another disadvantage is that your families might be against the dating relationship and won’t be supportive of you.
Places to Meet Older Women
If you’re a young man interested in dating women older than you, there are plenty of places to meet them. Although there are lots of places to meet older women online, it’s more than possible to do it in-person, too. Consider:
*Co-workers (but be careful if she’s your boss!)
*The bar
*Club
*University (Several older women are taking classes now – or you could check out the single teachers)
*Libraries
*Book Stores
*School (dropping the kids off and picking them up)
*Museums
*Coffee Shops
*Friends (be careful about dating the mothers of friends, they might not like it much)
There are lots of places to meet women, older or younger. There’s no harm in dating them if you’re interested, or at least see if they’ll let you go.
